About Linda Arpino, MA, RDN, CDN, FAND
Linda Arpino is the founder and CEO of Life Focus Nutrition, LLC, with offices located in Connecticut and New York. She is a recognized expert in weight management and chronic disease prevention, serving diverse, culturally rich communities. In 2024, Linda was honored with the Excellence in Service and Leadership award by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetics DPG.
As a national nutrition leader, she served as the 2023-2024 President of the Connecticut Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and has held various positions within the national AND organization. Linda excels in translating evidence-based nutrition research into practical applications for chronic disease prevention and treatment.
Linda is the author of numerous publications, including "Clinical and Cost Benefit of Medical Nutrition Therapy by Registered Dietitian Nutritionists for Management of Dyslipidemia: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis" and "Eat Fit, Be Fit: Health and Weight Management Solutions." She also contributed to shaping the Academy of Pediatric Guidelines for Lipid Management and Pediatric Overweight Guidelines.
In the AND Nutrition Care Manual, Linda incorporated vegan and lacto-ovo menus across all diets. An active speaker, she has presented to worksites AND affiliates throughout the US and international corporations on topics such as plant-based nutrition, sustainable food systems, chronic disease prevention, and planetary health.
Linda holds a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Nutrition from Syracuse University and a Master's degree in Nutrition from New York University.
